Pompano Beach, Florida — The Figgers Foundation brought its Florida Connect initiative to Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, supporting a community food drive while helping expand access to technology for local residents.

Located at 800 NW 8th Avenue, Mount Calvary is one of Pompano Beach's historic churches. Established in 1902, the church has served the community for more than a century, building a longstanding tradition of faith, fellowship, and community service.

The outreach was conducted in partnership with Pastor Brandon Jones, continuing the church's commitment to serving local residents.

Supporting a Community Food Drive Through Digital Access

Mount Calvary Baptist Church organized a community food drive on Tuesday, bringing residents together to receive food and support. The Figgers Foundation participated in the effort through Florida Connect, distributing tablets to community members during the food drive.

The Foundation returned to Mount Calvary on Sunday for a second tablet distribution, providing additional residents with access to technology through the Florida Connect program.
