The Figgers Foundation and Together We Rise Announce Partnership to Help Foster Youth
October 30, 2020Brea, CA - The Figgers Foundation commits a gift of $50,000 to Together We Rise to provide bicycles to youth in foster care for the holidays. As part of The Figgers Foundation’s “Every Child Christmas” campaign, bicycles will be donated to foster and adopted youth residing in Florida, Georgia, and California. This campaign officially launches a long-term partnership between The Figgers Foundation and Together We Rise in support of diverse programs benefiting foster youth across the United States.

ABOUT THE FIGGERS FOUNDATION
The Figgers Foundation is inspired by its founder Mr. Freddie Figgers, CEO and Chief Software Architect of Figgers Communications, Inc. He is an American inventor, computer programmer, entrepreneur, and the youngest American to hold a Federal Communications Commission License. Born and raised in Quincy, Florida, he was abandoned by his biological mother at birth and adopted by his foster parents. At a young age, he learned the value of accountability and giving back. Living by the mantra, ‘“We are our brother’s keeper,” Mr. Figgers is dedicated to making positive changes in the community. The Figgers Foundation’s mission is to provide essential resources that help propel those in need toward a better tomorrow.
